Donna Karen (Midkiff) Sutphin

Mrs. Donna Karen Midkiff Sutphin, 71, of Dobson, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Sutphin was born in Surry County on July 29, 1951, to the late James Powell and Hassie Hawks Midkiff.  Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  “Rest Easy Nana” from your grand babies.  She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Heather and Skip Key, Megan Cagle; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Roxanne Gartland, Josiah and Tara Cagle, grandchildren, Chloe, Fiona, Caitlyn and Rick Richardson, Ahlora, Brodie F., Brodie V., Kennedy, Brenna, Isis, Zariah, Bubba, Gavin, Angelina, Noah, Aubri, Talon; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Tiffiany Midkiff, Kathy Goins and Doug, Debra Stoltz and Tony; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Lisa Midkiff, along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sutphin was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Timothy Sutphin; two sisters, Anita Midkiff Holbrook, Kim Midkiff Brown; and a brother Powell Ray Midkiff.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00PM.  Interment will follow at the James Monroe Hiatt Memorial Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
