Doris Epperson Blondino

Mrs. Doris Epperson Blondino, 59, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Blondino was born September 28, 1951, in Lynchburg, VA, to the late Roy Burt and Mattie Emeline Greene Repass. She was a seamstress and a homemaker. Mrs. Blondino is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tauna and Dwayne Hall; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Darlene Epperson and Aron and Misty Burdo; eight grandchildren, Courtney Hawks, Chevy Goins, Zack Epperson, Cody Epperson, Nicole Hall, Mercedes Bare, Kenyon Key, and Kalia Burdo, all of Mount Airy; a great-grandchild, Haden Goins of Mount Airy; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sue and Charles Layne of Lynchburg, VA, and Stella and Leonard Moore of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Robert Repass and his fiancée, Kathy Sanders, of Norfolk, VA; and her ex-husband and friend, Bill Blondino of Norfolk, VA. In additional to her parents, Ms. Blondino was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Ann McCants. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Trinity Faith Community Church by the Rev. Jimmy and Lucy Felts and the Rev. Mac Cassell. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 13, 2011, from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
