Doris Jefferson Bullin

Mrs. Doris Jean Jefferson Bullin, age 78, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at her residence in Dobson, NC. She was born January 30, 1947, to the late Irene Reynolds and Roscoe Jefferson Sr. Mrs. Bullin was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a passion for serving the Lord and was a proud member of Joy Light Baptist Church. She loved caring for children and her flowers. Left to cherish her memories are husband, James Bullin; daughters, Sheila Palmer and Sandy Sizemore (Jeff); grandchildren, Cory Palmer (Fiancée, Jaime), Beth Palmer (Fiancé, JB), Neely Sizemore (Fiancé Darrius), Natalie Sizemore; great-granddaughter, Layla Coram; sisters, Josie Widener and Sarah Redmon; brother, Roscoe Jefferson Jr.; special daughter, Sharon Hall; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by three brothers, six sisters, and son-in-law, Dean Palmer. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Glory Light Baptist Church in Siloam. Services will begin at 2:00 PM at the church with Rev. Dale Bass and Dr. Jonathan Casstevens. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Special thanks to April, Melissa, Jonathan, Courtney and all the Mountain Valley Hospice Staff. Flowers are welcome or memorials can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice at PO Box 325, Dobson, NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Bullin family.
