Doris Renee Marshall

Mrs. Doris Renee Marshall, age 60, of Ararat, Virginia passed away on Friday morning, August 11, 2023, at her home.  Ms. Marshall was born October 4, 1962, in Surry County to late Ray “ Bob” Marshall and Mildred Puckett Marshall.  Renee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Surviving is her husband, Wade Williams, a daughter and son-in-law, Christina Nacole Stanley and Tommie; two grandchildren, Tommie Wayne Stanley, III, Presley Reagen Stanley; her mother, Mildred Puckett Marshall; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Serle and Glenice Puckett, and her paternal grandparents, Alvery and May Marshall.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Doe Run Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Bill Watson officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Doe Run Baptist Church Cemetery, 903 Doe Run Road, Ararat, Virginia 24053.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
