Dorothy Lucretia Wall Brinkley

Mrs. Dorothy Lucretia Wall Brinkley age 87 of 308 West Meadowview Road, Greensboro, NC widow of Mr. Calvin Odis Brinkley passed away Thursday, night, October 19, 2006 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC She had been in declining health for 11 years and seriously ill for one week. Mrs. Brinkley was born July 12, 1919 in Surry County, NC to the late Eugene and Sevelllin Owen Wall. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and George Humble, Greensboro, NC, a son Gary Brinkley, Boca Raton, FL, a granddaughter, Anna Jane Brinkley, Raleigh, NC and a sister, Virginia Butler, Chattanooga, TN. In addition to here husband and parents, Mrs. Brinkley was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Choplin. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. William Randolph. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
