Dorothy Leigh Millard Easter

Mrs. Dorothy Leigh Millard Easter, age 51 of Mt. Airy widow of Simon Easter passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Easter was born in Forsyth County, May 4, 1955 to the late Albert and Virginia Goad Millard. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph Lee and Vernadita Aurelio Paschal and Charles Easter both of Mt. Airy, NC; a sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Jimmy Payne of Mt. Airy; a brother, Roger Millard of Ararat, VA. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene Roberts, Ann Atkins Venable and a brother, Frank Mabe. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 9:30 AM until the time to leave for the service and at other times at the home of Maggie Goad, 120 Goad Ln. in Mt. Airy.
