Dorothy Harold Easter

Mrs. Dorothy Harold Easter, age 61, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem from complications of COVID. She was born on December 31, 1962 in Surry County to the late M.C. and Bertie Ayers Harold. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and retired from Northern Regional Hospital after 35 years of service. She was a loving mother and special friend who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Jason Easter; brother, Jimmy Harold (Jana); nephew, Josh Harold; niece Brittany Utt (Michael); mother-in-law, Agnes Easter; special friend, Linda Brown; extended family, Joanna Radford (Jim), Lisa Lankford (Donald), Amy Thornburg (Jeff), Ty Eades (Ashley), Ed Hull, and Angelika Wolf, Lana Holder (Joe), Stephanie Yang (Peter). In addition to her parents Mrs. Easter was preceded in death by her husband, William Mark Easter; parents, M.C. and Bertie Ayers Harold; father-in-law, Douglas Easter. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum with services conducted by Rev. Jake Penley. For those that wish to pay their respects they may come by the funeral home between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 28, 2024. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in honor of Mrs. Easter to the Skilled Nursing Unit at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy.
