Dorothy Marie Suggs Hyatt

Mrs. Dorothy Marie Suggs Hyatt, age 90, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, February, 5, 2024 at Grayson Creek Assisted Living.  She was born on December 9, 1933 in Rowan County to the late Bennie and Frances Walker Suggs.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memory are daughters and sons-in-law, Dolly Sowers (John), Joyce Amada (Eric); sons and daughters-in-law, Craig Hyatt (Chau), Michael Hyatt (T.C.), Paul Hyatt (Shannon); six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Olivia Weaver (Joe); nephew, Todd Weaver (Janie).  In addition to her parents Mrs. Hyatt was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Hyatt; Second husband, Richard Combs; daughter, Laura Elizabeth Edwards.  A private graveside service will be held and conducted by her family.
