Dorothy A. Holschuh

Dorothy A. Holschuh, 95, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008, at Golden Living Nursing Center. She was born in New York City and lived 45 years in Florida before moving to Mount Airy in 2001. Her quick wit, ready smile, and engaging personality won her many friends wherever she lived. She was the widow of George Holschuh. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Janet and David Head of Mount Airy and Nancy A. Holschuh of Gainesville, FL; her grandchildren and their spouses, Craig and Tiffany Head of Bethany and Karen and Wade Jurney of Greensboro; and five great-grandchildren, Madison, Atticus, and Samantha Head and Sydney and Erica Jurney. A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 9, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Holy Angels Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church for an hour prior to the service.
