Dorothy Elizabeth Noah Hooker

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Noah Hooker Age 88 of 125 Skyview Lane Mt. Airy, NC passed away Wednesday April 10, 2013 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy. Mrs. Hooker was born February 17, 1925 in Surry County to the late Chester Allen and Ida Mae Norma Noah and was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband Lansford Ray Hooker of the home, one daughter and son-in-law Cheryl Denise and Duane Michael DeJonge of Denver, CO., two sons and daughter-in-law Clifton Ray and Julie Hooker of Warrenton, VA and Douglas Noah Hooker of Mt. Airy, grandchildren and spouses Lindsey and Elmer Lehman, Tanner and Alexis DeJonge, Elizabeth Hooker, Joanna Hooker, Madelaine Hooker, Thomas Hooker, Kevin Hooker and James Hooker a great grandchildren Carter Lehman, Kasen Lehman, Camden Lehman, Kai Lehman and Gerritt DeJonge and one brother Norman Chester Noah. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hooker was preceded in death by two brothers Arnold Allen Noah and Ormond Louis Noah. Funeral services will be held Monday April 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Jared Synder and Ray Hoffman with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
