Dorothy Snow Terrell

Mrs. Dorothy Snow Terrell, 96, widow of Mr. Dave Terrell, of Dobson, passed away on Friday March 2, 2007 at Elkin Healthcare. Mrs. Terrell was born in Surry County on November 14, 1910 to the late Connie B. and Pearl Hemmings Snow. Surviving are a devoted daughter, Peggy Terrell Haynes and husband Davis M. Haynes of Dobson; a grandson, David Terrell Haynes and wife De Anne McCormick Haynes; a great granddaughter, Hannah Marie Haynes, whom she loved dearly; a sister Annie Pearl Martin; two sisters-in-law, Marie Bunker Snow, Edith Snow Fulk and husband Gray; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Terrell was preceded in death by two brothers, Garland and Glenn Snow and a sister, Thelma Snow Hobson. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, March 4, 2007 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 until the time of the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
