Mrs. Dorothy Inez Caudle Wall, 88, of 5615 Siloam Road, Siloam, our devoted mother, went to be with the Lord Saturday September 12, 2009, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Wall was born August 1, 1921, in Surry County, to the late Arthur and Delia Willard Caudle. She was a wonderful homemaker, who loved cooking and canning, going to church, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Wall was a member of Glory Light Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Joyce and Ores Barker of Lexington, Judy Rogers of Mount Airy, and Jill Wall of Statesville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve Wall of Pilot Mountain and Brent and Debbie Wall of Siloam; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Norman of Elkin and Betty Griffith of Clemmons; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Glory Light Baptist Church, with Pastor Keith Jones, Pastor Glinard Lawson, and Pastor Danny Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, where her body will remain until carried to the church to lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions can be made to Glory Light Baptist Church, 149 Glory Light Church Lane, Siloam, NC 27047; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
