Dr. Jerry Ray Hemric

Dr. Jerry Ray Hemric, age 68 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away at his home on Saturday February 27, 2016. He was born in Surry County on January 15, 1948 to the late Carl Dewitte and Texas Strange Hemric. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, and a retired dermatologist. Surviving are his two daughters and sons-in-law Kristin and Damian Bacich of Santa Clara, CA; Karin and Marc Rubesh of Poway CA; one son Justin Brant Hemric of San Diego, CA; three grandchildren Joseph Bacich, Rose Bacich, and Roman Rubesh; three sisters and brother-in-law Carleen Hemric of San Diego, CA, Betty and Grady Newman of Dobson, Jana Hemric of Charlotte, NC; three brothers and sisters-in-law Jack Dean and Elaine Hemric of Winston-Salem, NC, Joe Bill and Linda Hemric of Dobson, Carl Junior and Jackie Hemric of Fuquay Varina, NC; mother of his children JoAnn Hemric of San Diego CA. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Fairview Baptist Church with Blue Bryan conducting the service. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, NC is serving the Hemric family.
