Duke Andrew Beemer

Mr. Duke Andrew Beemer, 50, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, at North Broward Medical Center in Florida. Mr. Beemer was born May 16, 1960, in National City, CA, to Nancy Jane Greene Beasley and the late Vernon L. Beemer. He was a truck driver for Gexpro. He is survived by his wife, Janice Gray Beemer of the home; a daughter, Kayla Beemer of Florida; a son, Talon Beemer of the home; his mother, Nancy Jane Greene Beasley of Mocksville; his stepfather, Bobby L. Beasley, Sr. of Mocksville; a sister, Kathleen Bowman of Mocksville; three brothers, Neal Beemer of Stokesdale, Dale Beemer of Cana, VA, and Bobby Beasley, Jr. of Mocksville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Mr. Beemer was preceded in death by his stepgrandmother, Fannie Mae Beasley. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
