Duncan T. McClellan

      Mr. Duncan T. McClellan, age 64 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, at SOVAH of Martinsville.  He was born in Roanoke on June 30, 1959, to the late John Pierce McClellan and Jean Patterson McClellan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Pierce “Jack” McClellan, Jr; and a stepdaughter, Tabitha Morrison.  Duncan had retired from Eastman.  He loved going camping and boating, was a fantastic grill master, and enjoyed doing wood working. 

       Surviving is his “Shack Mate”, Joan Shelton of the home; one son, Jonathon McClellan of Winston-Salem, NC; one daughter, Megan Farley of Missouri; several grandchildren; one stepson, Brad Morrison and wife, Kricket of Stuart; one step granddaughter, Kinley Morrison; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette and Curtis Tatum of Buchanan, Mary M. and Les Gunter of Virginia Beach; and several nieces and nephews.

       A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
