Dustin Lee Dishman

Mr. Dustin Lee Dishman, age 38, of Stuart, Virginia, passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Mr. Dishman was born on April 26, 1986, in Botetourt County, Virginia to Stevie Dishman and the late Tammy Whitaker Fulcher. He was a loving son, brother, cousin and friend, he’ll be deeply missed by the many that knew him. He was a good man inside and out, loved his family most importantly, loved being outdoors and animals. Mr. Dishman is survived by his father, Stevie Dishman; sister, Heather Fulcher and JJ Johnson; his grandmothers, Sharon Smouse, Ethel Elaine Dishman; nephew, Eli Johnson; niece, Addisyn Johnson; uncle, Chris Whitt; cousins, Xavier Whitt, Trevor Whitt, Jazmyn Whitt, Donnie Dishman Jr; step-father, Johnny Fulcher; his best friend, Jonathan Nowlin. In addition to his mother, Mr. Dishman was preceded in death by his grandpa, Roger Whitaker; step-grandma, Peggy Tucker; step-grandpa, Kent Whitt; cousin, Shawn Whitt; uncles, Darren Whitaker, Darrell Whitaker. A celebration of Mr. Dishman’s life will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy with Bro. Tony G. Whitt officiating. There will be no formal visitation held at this time. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Dishman family.
