Dusty Ray Venable

Mr. Dusty Ray Venable, 29, of Ararat, VA, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Venable was born February 16, 1980, in Forsyth County, to Ray Venable and Bonnie Vipperman Edwards. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his mother, Bonnie Vipperman Edwards of Climax; his father, Ray Venable of the home; a brother, Joshua Ray Venable of the home; and his grandparents, Viola Vipperman of Climax and Peggy and John Sparger of Pilot Mountain. Mr. Venable was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clyde Vipperman and Harold Venable. There will be a private memorial service at a later date. A register book will be provided at Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy beginning at noon Friday until noon Saturday for the public to sign if they wish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local animal shelter.
