Dwight Luke Jenkins II

Dwight Luke Jenkins II passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 2nd. He was born on January 4th, 1984. He was born to Dwight Luke Jenkins and Linda Gail Barry. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie Leo Jenkins and Betty Jo Jenkins, Jerry and Linda Whitaker, Victor Sewell, his uncles Chester and Sambo Jenkins.

Luke was always full of fun and a protector of everyone he knew, especially his sisters. He was a great friend and always someone who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved his family more than anything. Luke enjoyed fishing and being outdoors and he loved working with his hands. His love of video games passed on to many of his siblings and nephews. His joy and smile will forever be held in the hearts of all who loved him.

Surviving his death are his parents Dwight and Twana Jenkins and Gail Barry, His sisters, Marie Jenkins (Douglas Kyle), Crystal Norman (Josh), Emmalee Jenkins (Anthony), his nieces and nephews, Danielle and Jeremiah Brooks, and Jasmine and Kaden Wall, Along with his chosen brothers and sister, Eric Stokes (Pungy), Michael Hauser and Samantha Faw, though he never had children, he loved Trent Blevins, Kaylee, Emily, and Sierra Akers as his own.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24th, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Solid Rock Bible Baptist Church. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude to the Remember The Reaper Man fund.  This can be done by logging on to the St. Jude's website. (www.stjude.org)
