Earl David Edwards

Mr. Earl David Edwards, 72, of Elkin passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.  He was born in Elmira County, NY on July 15, 1946 to the late Delbert Warfield and Marie Mae Miles Edwards.  Mr. Edwards retired from Basset Furniture.  He proudly served our country in the United Stated Army.  He is survived by his wife, Gracie Miller Edwards; daughters, Susie Frazier and Christina Edwards; and a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kimberly Bowman; grandchildren, Jazilyn Frazier, Benjamin Mankins, Jericho Bowman, and one grandson due soon, Isaiah Thompson.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Zephyr Baptist Church with full military rites conducted by the VFW Honor Guard Mt.
