Eddie Manuel Brown

Mr. Eddie Manuel Brown, age 60, of Dobson, NC passed away at his home on Monday February 21, 2022.  He was born in Surry County on July 28, 1961, to the late Ernest Hoover Brown and the late Odessa Mae Lowe Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Eugene Brown.  He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of Coleman Primitive Baptist Church.  Surviving are his two sisters and brother-in-law, Pauline and Jerry Fleenor, Iris Brown; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carlton and Bunny Brown, Burnice and Stevanna Brown; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday February 26, 2022, at Coleman Primitive Baptist Church, a private burial will be held prior to the service.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 PM until the time of his service at 2:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at other times at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Carlton and Bunny Brown, 273 White Road, Elkin, NC 28621.  Elder George Paul, Elder Lowell Hopkins will officiate the services.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home will serve the Brown family, and there will be no formal services held at the funeral home.
