Eddie Dean Brown

Eddie Dean Brown, 67, of Thurmond, North Carolina passed away March 28, 2025. Born January 6, 1958, to Paul Floyd and Carol Vera Royal Brown in Surry County, North Carolina. Eddie worked for 32 years at Perdue Farms. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent his free time hunting and fishing. Eddie also was a collector and enjoyed searching for Native America relics and antiques. He recently started attending church at Roaring Gap Baptist Church. Eddie was a family man and loved his family more than anything. Along with his mother, left to cherish his memory is his wife, Vickie Lowe Brown; sons and daughters-in-law, Cory Brown and Amber, and Joey Brown and Jordan; grandchildren, Hunter Brown, Lacey Brown, Willow Brown, and Hattie-Keith Brown; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul Jr. Brown and Darlene, and Dale Brown and Gail. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Brown. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 1, 2025. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service, burial will take place in the White Rock Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Brown family.
