Edgar "Buddy" Snow

Mr. Edgar “Buddy” Snow, age 70 passed away on Sunday, October 11th, 2020 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Snow was born in Surry County on April 2nd, 1950 to Juanita Creed Snow and the late Oscar Snow. Buddy was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He worked hard as a mechanic but his true passion was spending time with his family and making people smile and laugh. He did not have a serious bone in his body and truly enjoyed telling jokes and looking on the lighter side of things. He always kept everyone laughing even in the darkest of times. He loved horses, classic cars, fishing, and the beach.  Left to cherish his memories are his son and daughter-in-law Buddy and Molly Snow, his daughter and son-in-law Wendy and Ty Shouse, a grandson Waylon Snow, a granddaughter due to January, his mother Juanita Snow, a brother and sister-in-law TJ and Pam Snow, two sisters Kay Snow and Diane Hodges, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Mr. Snow was preceded in death by two brothers Mickle and Dicky Snow.

A celebration of life gathering to share some of our favorite memories, to laugh, to cry, and to remember a wonderful person who will truly be missed will be scheduled at a later date.
