Edith Irene Bullin Hall

Mrs. Edith Irene Bullin Hall, 80, loving wife of Mr. James William Hall, of Dobson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Surry County on November 29, 1927 to the late Johnnie Daniel and Betty Lou Childress Bullin. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and a member of Siloam Methodist Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 52 years, James William Hall; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Teresa Hall of Dobson and Terry and Kristie Hall of Pilot Mountain; six grandchildren, Michelle Hall, Shane Hall, Brooke Hall, Nicole Hall Laken Hall and Alex Brewer; a great-grandson Keaton Landis; a sister and brother-in-law, Jennie Lee and Bill Wall of Siloam; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Doris Bullin of Dobson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Hilda Faye Hall and a sister, Louise Wall. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday December 13, 2007 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson with Rev. Clayton Tilley and Rev. Jay Worsley officiating and burial to follow in Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Moody-Davis Funeral Home.
