Edith Maurine Hinds

Mrs. Edith Maurine Hinds age 92 of 1297 Galax Trail, Mt Airy, NC passed away Friday, April 27, 2007 at Twelve Oaks Rest Home and Retirement Center. She was born December 18, 1914 in Lincoln, NE to the late William and Adeline Strayer. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, was a member of the North Main Church of Christ and was a homemaker. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Julian and Ann Riddick, Mt. Airy, NC, a son-in-law, Roy Neville, Ellijay, GA, five grandchildren, and spouses, Roy A and Kat Neville, Bradenton, FL, David and Carrie Neville, Dallas, GA, Julia and Ken Carpenter, Ellijay, GA, Lance and Robin Riddick, White Plains, MD, and Duane Riddick, Mt. Airy, NC, five great-grandchildren. In addition ot her parents, Mrs. Hinds was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian W. Riddick and her second husband, Roy Hinds and a daughter, Rita Neville. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2007 at the North Main Church of Christ conducted by minister, Robert Geisbers and minister, Lance Riddick . Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery. There will be no visitation at he funeral home. Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy is serving the Hinds family.
