Edward "Eddie" Lee Beck

Mr. Edward “Eddie” Lee Beck, age 48, passed away at his home on Friday August 18, 2023.  He was born in Surry County on August 28, 1975, to the late Bud Beck and Sherry Hauser.  He was a loving father and husband.  Eddie will be missed by many.  He was the owner of EVCO Plumbing.  Eddie loved to ride his Harley, ride four wheelers, ride dirt bikes, and watch Sons of Anarchy.  Eddie is survived by his daughter, Brittany Nicole Beck; special grand dog, Rocco; aunts, Diane, Susie, and Tina; several cousins, father-in-law, James McBride; sister-in-law, Rhonda McBride; half-sister, Dovey; his special friends, The Treece family, The McMahon family, The Fenstermaker family, Don Goins and Carolyn Choate families, and the Reece family.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Beck was preceded in death by his loving wife of 27 years, Yvonne McBride Beck; grandparents, Ray and Peggy Towe; and his aunt, Pam.  A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held on Saturday August 26, 2023, at 11:00am in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00am.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
