Edward "Eddie" Ray Coleman

            Mr. Edward “Eddie” Ray Coleman, age 55, of Stuart, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Patrick County on June 5, 1963.  He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Coleman; a brother, William Coleman; and a special niece, Shaunaci Knight.  Eddie had worked for Nationwide Homes and loved hunting, fishing, and Jimmy Johnson.  He was a member of the Patrick County 4-H Marksman.

            Surviving are his wife, Nova Lee Coleman of the home; one son, Thomas Coleman of the home; his mother, Verna Bonds Coleman of Spencer; three sisters, Mary Coleman of Spencer, Patricia Knight (Tim) of Sandy Ridge, NC, Martha O'Neil of High Point; two brothers, Harold Coleman of Spencer, Robert Coleman (Cathy) of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Elder Alan Terry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
