Edward Allen Mills

           Mr. Edward Allen Mills, age 59 of Stuart, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  He was born in Frederick, MD on October 3, 1960 to the late Howard J. “Pete” and Ruby N. Mills.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edward L. Hough, Jr., a granddaughter, Allison Raine Hough; one sister, Marlene Wiles; and a brother-in-law, Charles Wiles.  Eddie was a brick mason and foreman for L.E. Jones Masonry for many years.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with family.

            Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Darlene M. Mills of the home; one daughter, Jodie J. Brown and fiancé,    Tim Cuplin of Libertytown, MD; three sons, Duane A. Mills and fiance, Tina of Martinsburg, WV, Michael A. Hough and wife, Donna of Stuart, Dustin J. Mills and wife Crystal of the home; three sisters, Kathryn “Kitty” McKenzie, Dawn Lucas and husband, Earl “Whitey”, Patricia “Patty” Simmons all of Myersville, MD; one brother, Michael Mills and wife, Connie of Oceana, WV; 15 grandchildren; special friends, Ricky Stegall and wife, Brenda of Martinsville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

            A memorial service will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 at 3:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Joe Young officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
