Edward "Moe" D. Branch

        Mr. Edward D. “Moe” Branch, age 70 of Dugspur, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023.  He was born in Martinsville on December 22, 1952, to the late William Branch and Betty Mae Felts Branch.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry, and David Branch.  Moe loved riding motorcycles, fixing cars, and playing poker.  He enjoyed watching Nascar and football. Mr. Branch was a retired boilermaker.

         Surviving is his daughter, Tanya Leahann Branch of Collinsville; two sons, Nathan Branch of Patrick Springs, Israel Branch of Virginia; five grandchildren, Autumn Cressel, Blake McPeak, Clive Branch, Alijah Wooden, Jared Branch; one great granddaughter, Mya; one sister, Linda Martin of Spencer; mother of his children, Sandra Branch of Patrick Springs; his friend and caretaker, Shirley Wade of Stuart; and his four-legged friend and companion, Black Betty.

         A graveside service will be held Friday, February 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Branch Family Cemetery on Blueberry Lane in Patrick Springs with Pastor Mark Wright officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Edward “Moe” Branch Memorial Fund, P.O.
