Edward Randolph "Randy" Thomas

Mr. Edward Randolph “Randy” Thomas, 62, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, March 05, 2016 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Wythe County, VA on August 27, 1953 to the late Orba Draper and Bertha Harden Thomas. Mr. Thomas was employed at O’Reilly Auto Parts and attended Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Penny Utt Thomas; a daughter, Becky Lynn Thomas and boyfriend Brian Dunlap; a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan Edward Thomas and Sabrina; two grandchildren, Kendall Thomas and Kaitlynn Thomas; two sisters, Janet McDowell, and Jeanna Thomas; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim Thomas and Vickie; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Pardue and the Rev. Randy Parish officiating. Burial will follow in The Peoples Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
