Edwin "Ed" Everett Powell

Mr. Edwin "Ed" Everett Powell, age 60, of Meadows of Dan, VA., passed away on December 30, 2006, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Powell was born in North Carolina, on August 2, 1946, to the late, Guy and Ada Marie Everett Powell. Mr. Powell
served in the Air Force, and was a machinist at Aerial Machine and Tool.

Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Carolyn Spangler Powell, one daughter, Susan Renee' Powell, of Waynesboro, VA, and one sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Robert Taylor of Williamston, N.C.

Funeral service for Mr. Powell will be held at Mt. View United Methodist Church, on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 1:00PM, with Pastor Terry Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.
