Mr. Elbert Eugene Willard Jr., age 64, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  He was born in Fredericksburg VA October 5, 1956, to the late Elbert Eugene Willard Sr. and Dotzene Gillenwater Willard.  He retired from Sarah Lee after many years of service.  Mr. Willard is survived by his sisters, Judy Willard and Linda Threatt; several special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; a friend, as close as a brother, Richard Pell and his wife Peggy, as well as many other great friends.  In addition to his parents Mr. Willard was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Collins, and Brenda Willard and brothers, Jack, and Johnny Willard.  Due to health concerns and public gathering restriction at this time, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Midkiff Cemetery with Rev. Tony White officiating.  The body will lie-in-state at Moody Funeral Home, Friday, November 20, 2020 from 2:00 until 5:00 PM.  The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Edward and Kelly Johnson, 180 Cedar Lake Trail, Mt.
