Eleanor Lucy Weidhaas

Mrs. Eleanor Lucy Weidhaas, age 94 , passed away Saturday morning at Kings Grant in Martinsville. She was born on January 17, 1919 in Easthampton, Massachusetts to the late Antoni and Lucy Marciniak. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weidhaas was preceded in death by her husband, George Weidhaas and one brother, Emil Marciniak. She was a member of Bouldin Memorial Presbyterian Church, and had been a social worker for the Welfare Department in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
Mrs. Weidhaas is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Allen Fredrick Weidhaas and Caroline Lester Weidhaas of Stuart and Mark George Weidhaas and Denise Wayne Weidhaas of Venice, Florida; three grandchildren, Sara Weidhaas Gram and husband Timothy, Karl Weidhaas and wife, Jennifer, and Clinton Weidhaas and wife Karen; and three great-grandchildren, William and Georgia Gram and Elizabeth Weidhaas.
A graveside memorial service will be held in the Brookside Cemetery, Easthampton, Massachusetts, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bouldin Memorial Presbyterian Church, c/o Della Fulcher, 590 American Legion Road, Stuart, Virginia 24171.
