Elizabeth Jean Collins Corns

Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Collins Corns, 86 of Lowgap, passed away Saturday morning February 11, 2017 at Central Continuing Care in Mount Airy. She was born on August 5, 1930 in Patrick County. Mrs. Corns was retired from the evergreen business and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Corns is survived by her sister, Lucille Collins Robinson; several nieces and nephews; and by a special friend, Norma Lowe Crouse. Mrs. Corns was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Henry Corns; and by her siblings. A graveside service will be held on Monday February 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Peter’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 6561 NC Hwy 8 North, Lawsonville, NC 27022 with Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home for Mrs. Corns.
