Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Puckett Gwynn

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie"Puckett Gwynn age 99 of 1710 Wards Gap Road, Cana, VA widow of Mr. Joseph Gwynn passed away Thursday night, October 19, 2006 at Northern Hospital of Surry in Mt. Airy, NC. She was born March 2, 1907 in Patrick County, VA to the late Major and Perlina Bateman Puckett. She was a member of Willis Gap Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Josephine and Bobby Jones, Cana, VA, a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Gwynn, Ararat, VA, a granddaughter and husband, Patricia and Donald Anderson, Claudville, VA, two great grandchildren and a spouse, Sonia Anderson, Ararat, VA, Barry and Renae Anderson Claudville, VA, a great-great grandson, Tyler Anderson Claudville, VA. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gwynn was preceded in death by a son William Clarence Gwynn, three sisters, Mamie P. Bowman, Agnes Harold, and Hassie Harold, four brothers, Harmon Puckett, Everett Puckett, Otis Puckett and William Riley Puckett. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev.Rayton Puckett. Burial will follow in the Gwynn Family Cemetery.
