Elizabeth Ann Prillaman

Miss Elizabeth Ann “Lizzie” Prillaman, age 57 of Stuart, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Sovah Health Martinsville Hospital.  She was born in Patrick County on October 17, 1961.  Miss Prillaman was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Lewis Prillaman, and a brother, Wesley Carl Prillaman. She graduated from Bridgewater College in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree. She lived in Culpeper for 26 years, moving back to Patrick County in 2014 to be with her family. She enjoyed fishing and traveling, having many adventures along the way. Lizzie will be missed by all who knew her.

          Miss Prillaman is survived by her mother, Linda Shough Prillaman of Stuart; a sister, Martha Prillaman Jones and husband, Roger of Danville; her nieces and nephews, Ricky Prillaman and wife, Wendy, Mickey Prillaman, Tate Jones and wife, Jessica, Makenna Sands and husband, Ryan, Jacoby Jones;  and two great-nieces, Heidi Prillaman and Amber Fortner.

          Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Rick Randall and Pastor Roger Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Prillaman Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.  If desired, memorials may be made to New Hope Church of the Brethren Orphanage in Haiti Fund, 2007 New Hope Church Road, Stuart, Virginia 24171.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
