Mrs. Ella Faye Wilson Holder Hodges Age 82 of 752 Maple Grove Church Rd. Mt. Airy, NC widow of Mr. Winford L. Hodges passed away Thursday night October 18, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Hodges was born August 10, 1925 in Galax, VA. to the late Samuel Mumthord and Mary Elizabeth Harris Wilson, she was a homemaker and member of Holy Cross Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law Betty Bradley of Mt. Airy, Vivian and Bill Seal of Lowgap, Mary and Greg Becker and Louise Michaels all of Mt. Airy, Two sons Pastor Sam "Randy" and Thelma Holder of Lowgap and Pastor Woodrow "Butch" and Sandra Holder of Mt. Airy several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, stepchildren Donald Holder and Raymond Holder both of Mt. Airy, Jewel Stanley of Mt. Airy and Nancy Baity of Greensboro, one sister Mallie Holderfield of Galax and one brother Robert Wilson of Galax. In addition to her husband and parents Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her first husband Woodrow Thomas Holder, by one sister Berthie Russell and by two brothers Garner Wilson and Hurley Wilson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Holy Cross Baptist Church by Pastor Sam "Randy" Holder and Pastor Woodrow "Butch" Holder. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Holy Cross Baptist Church. Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
