Elsie Irene Pedigo

Ms. Elsie Irene Pedigo, 88, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Rose Tara Assisted Care in King, NC.  She was born December 3, 1934, in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Joseph Letcher and Bessie Noah Pedigo.  She was retired from Forsyth County as a mail room supervisor and was of the Presbyterian Faith.  Ms. Pedigo was a avid reader and dog lover, She enjoyed her flowers and cooking.  She is survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Cornelia Brinkley, Jenny and Albert Cockerham and Carol Miller; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Pedigo was preceded in death by sisters Ellen Smith and Margaret Fleming and three brothers, Mack Pedigo, Butch Pedigo and Auburn Pedigo.  A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Pedigo Family Cemetery.  Mr. Albert Cockerham will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite animal rescue.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com
