Elva Elizabeth Bumgarner Golden

Mrs. Elva Elizabeth Bumgarner Golden, 87, widow of Mr. Jim Donald Golden, of Dobson passed away on Tuesday June 23, 2009 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Wilkes County on August 27, 1921 to the late Richard G. and Mary Snyder Bunmgarner and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her devoted son, Larry Golden and Sharron Bryant of Dobson. A graveside service will be held at 5 pm Friday June 26, 2009 at Rockford Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Hugh Bryant with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rockford Baptist Church c/o Thomas Rowe 4104 Rockford Road Dobson, NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Golden family.
