Erik Sax Malund

Mr. Erik Sax Malund, age 81, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy.  Mr. Malund was born in Hvidovre, Denmark, on January 2, 1941 to the late Karen Kjerstine Sax Malund and Jens Madsen Malund.  Eric and his wife Jan who preceded him in death were very faithful members of Faith Baptist Church in Mt. Airy.  Their passion was to contribute to and help with the food pantry, never wanting anyone to go hungry.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church Food Pantry, PO Box 37, Toast, NC 27049.  There will be a memorial service Sunday, February, 20th, 2:00 at Faith Baptist Church.
