Ernest Michael Frazier

Mr. Ernest Michael Frazier, age 72, of Mount Airy passed away on Friday December 25, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born in Rockingham County, North Carolina on April 6, 1948 to the late George and Ethel Cook Frazier.  Ernie spent over 30 years in banking and had never met a stranger. Left to cherish his memory are sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Winter Frazier, Patrick and Caitlin Frazier, Brandon Frazier; grandchildren Gavin Frazier, Evie Frazier, Beau Frazier, Lillian Bowman and Maddie Bowman; brother and sister-in-law Roy and Dawn Frazier, sister and brother-in-law Virginia and David Phelps.  In addition to his parents Ernie was preceded in death by his wife Marsha Elaine (Melton) Frazier, daughter Lara Frazier, grand daughter Amelia Frazier, brothers and sisters Melvin Frazier, Gertrude Frazier, James Frazier, Claude Frazier, George Frazier, Joe Frazier, Inez Frazier East, Clara Frazier East and Gladis Frazier Robertson. Memorial contributions can be made to Victory Baptist Church, 2120 Riverside Drive, Mount Airy, NC.  The family will have a private viewing Thursday, December 31st and meeting at the son, Patrick’s home, 208 Storm Haven Lane, Mount Airy, NC.  The graveside service will be Sunday, January 3rd at 3:00 at the Dan Valley Cemetery in Eden, North Carolina.
