Ernest Bradley Lemons

Mr. Ernest Bradley Lemons, 92, of Dobson, husband of Leavie Venable Watson Lemons, passed away on Monday November 27, 2006 at Central Continuing Care Nursing Center while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sevier Tennessee on April 23, 1914 to the late Oliver and Burns Bolen Bradley. Mr. Lemons was a retired home produce farmer and a member or Gospel Light Baptist Church of Walkertown, NC. A native of Cherokee, Mr. Lemons was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Leavie of the home; a daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Calvin Pierce of Rural Hall, NC; a son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Barbara Lemons of Kernersville, NC; a step-daughter Audrey and husband Bruce Sands of Mocksville, NC; two step-sons and spouses Dennis and Eunice Watson of Kernersville, NC and David and Judy Watson of White Hall, PA.; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews and many church friends . In addition to his parents, Mr. Lemons was preceded in death by his Foster Parents James Benjamin and Isabella Lemons; his first wife Stacie Elizabeth Simmons Lemons; sisters Effie Barefoot Benson, Annie Bolen, Laura Smith; a brother Isaacs Wallace. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday December 1, 2006 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson with Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory of Kernersville, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson.
