Mrs. Ernestine Jarrell Hull, 92, of 1000 Salemtowne Drive, Winston-Salem, formerly of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, January 12, 2009, at Salemtowne. Mrs. Hull was born March 30, 1916, in Surry County, to the late Albert Franklin and Leake Tilley Jarrell. She was a textile worker, a homemaker, and a member of Grace Moravian Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Kenneth Stoker of Albemarle and Dot and Ken Busick of Greensboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Karol Hull of Williamsburg, VA; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hull was preceded in death by her husband, Glennie "Glenn" Hull; two sisters, Gladys Martin and Mae King; and a brother, Howard Jarrell. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Grace Moravian Church, with the Rev. Tony Hayworth officiating. Burial will follow in God's Acre. The family will receive friends after the service in the church parlor.
