Mrs. Essie Virginia Nunn Inman, 89 of 195 New Valley Road, Claudville, VA, passed away Monday, July 9, 2007, at R.J. Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Stuart, VA. Mrs. Inman was born August 15, 1917, in Patrick County, VA, to the late Abe and Laler Smart Nunn. She retired from United Elastic Company and was a member of Dry Pond Church of Christ in Stuart, VA. She is survived by a daughter, Cleadis Inman Hall of Claudville, VA; three grandchildren and spouses, Wanda and Dale Radford of Mount Airy, Sonda Reece of Winston-Salem, and Gary and Lisa Hall of Claudville, VA; five great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Ergie and Pate Bowman and Vergie Hazelwood, all of Ararat, VA, and Zelma Doss of Stuart, VA; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kermit and Jackie Nunn of Ararat, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Inman; a son-in-law, Joseph Leonard Hall; a grandson, Allen Dale Hall; five sisters, Myrtle Nunn, Cubie McCormick, Lillian Bowman, Bordie McMillion, and Ordie Underwood; and two brothers, Odell Slate and R.C. Nunn. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Dry Pond Church of Christ. The service will be conducted by Don Sloan and David Lewis, and burial will follow in the Dry Pond Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, and other times at the home of Gary and Lisa Hall, 187 Cox Ridge Road, Claudville, VA.
