Esther Rebekah DeLan

Mrs. Esther Goedel DeLan, 89, of Mt. Airy passed away at Grayson Rehab and Healthcare Thursday, October 31, 2019.  She was born in Wadena Co, MN, on March 11, 1930 to the late Otto and Lilly Goedel.  She is survived by her sister, Millie Ann; two step-daughters and a son-in-law, Vivian and Peter Bergus, and Jennifer Dunlap; step-grandchildren and spouses, Bryan and Hannah Laurenson, Stephen Laurenson, Alexandra and Dayne Shannon, and Nicholas Rouse; great-grandchildren, Sophia Laurenson, Audrey Laurenson and Eleanor Marie Laurenson.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. DeLan was preceded in death by her husband, Victor S. DeLan; and her four brothers, Willis, Wayne, Marvin and Eugene.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, November 4, 2019 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Loman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Peoples Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
