Esther Mae Marion

Ms. Esther Mae “Dee” Marion, 67, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.  She was born in Forsyth County on February 8, 1953 to the late Joel Monroe and Mary Lucy Stevens Marion.  Ms. Marion was a loving homemaker and a member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church.  She is survived by a daughter, Dana Renee Baker; sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Sandy Beck, Damon and Rhonda Beck; a step-daughter, Tracey Paige Baker; fifteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy and Roy Hiatt, Joyce and Melvin Hawks, Mary and Aubrey Wall; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joel and Judy Marion, Jerry and Ann Marion; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Marion was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Diane Marion. 

Due to the rising health concerns and the limited numbers allowed at public events, this visitation and funeral service at Moody Funeral Home will be private as well as the burial service that will follow.
