Ethel Daniel Beamer

Mrs. Ethel Daniel Beamer age 96 of Mount Airy, widow of Samuel Frank Beamer, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Beamer was born in Surry County on April 22, 1910 to the late Robert Daniel and Maude Atkins Daniel and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church for over 60 years. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law, Judy Bray of Davidson and Carol and Wayne Denny of Pilot Mountain; one son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Patricia Beamer of Greensboro; seven grandchildren and spouses, Dean Bray III and Julie of Mount Airy, Shannon and Joel Barto of Mooresville, Becky and Greg Ebert of Lewisville, Douglas F. Beamer of High Point, Daniel L. and Ashley Beamer of Roanoke, VA, Richard K. Penn III and Wendy of Sherrills Ford and Brooks F. and Stacey Penn of Cary and by 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Dale Wallace with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Saturday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church .
