Ethel Mae Goodson

Miss Ethel Mae Goodson, age 66, of King, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Universal Health Care in King.  She was born October 24, 1952 to the late Alexander Casby and Mary Bethel Lineberry Goodson Philips.  Miss Goodson attended Lowgap Elementary School in her early years and was a huge fan of Elvis, crafting, shopping and was of a strong Christian faith.  She was a loving person who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are sisters and brother-in-law, Tryla Goodson, Joyce Edwards, Media Ann Goodson, Evelyn Jean and Garrett Goodson; brother, Tranferd “Trent” Goodson; nephews, Robert Reid Goodson and Tracy Edwards; niece, Tonya Van Nieuwkoop and husband Eric; aunts, Donnie Barringer, Ann Goodson Snow and Viola Lineberry; as well as several great-nieces and nephews.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by Rev. Woody Flippin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be private.
