Ethel Ailene Westmoreland Wilson

Mrs. Ethel Ailene Westmoreland Wilson, 81, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Wilson was born August 7, 1927, in Virginia, to June and Tish Brady Westmoreland. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Calvin Wilson of Mount Airy; a son, Russell Queen of Mount Airy; eight grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mavie Westmoreland and Ruby and Cobb Harris; and a brother, Carl Westmoreland. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 1, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
