Etta "Agnes" Moseley Wells

Mrs. Etta “Agnes” Moseley Wells, 87 of Mount Airy passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Wells was born on August 16, 1934, in Surry County to the late Leslie and Vella Belton Mosley.  Agnes was loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Lankford and husband John; granddaughter, Tammy Lankford Nelms and husband Aron; two great-granddaughters, Isabella, and Anna-Grace; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Columbus Wells; a sister, Iris Moseley Harvey and husband, James Harvey; and a brother, Rev. Leon Mosley.  A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Skyline Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy McCraw officiating.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
