Eugene Jackson Gammons

Mr. Eugene Jackson Gammons, 79, of Ararat, VA passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Patrick County, VA on November 30, 1941, to the late Raymond and Bertha Hayden Gammons. Mr. Gammons was a retired Electrician. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Cleo Goad Gammons; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Jessica Gammons, Michael and Mary Gammons; son-in-law, Troy Bryant; grandchildren, Cody Bryant, Austin Bryant, Molly and Mitchell Dorsett, Destiny Gammons, Aryanna Roberts, Landon Roberts, David Marshall, Mark Willard; great grandchildren, Zealand Dorsett, Dalton Bowman; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dean Hill; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gammons was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Bryant; a brother, Irvin Gammons. The family will have a private memorial service later.
